Hipparcos Cherry Profile PBT Keycaps

Inspired by the boundless array of stars in the night sky, the Hipparcos Cherry Profile PBT Keycaps capture the essence of celestial observation. From ancient times, the study of stars has fascinated astronomers, scientists, and the general public alike. Stars have symbolized various concepts: to early civilizations, they were embodiments of myths and legends, while travelers and sailors relied on them as navigational beacons. In astrology, constellations represented fortunes and destinies, and on ancient star charts, they symbolized either peace and prosperity or impending darkness.

Despite our eagerness to explore stars light-years away, our understanding remains superficial. To us, stars are eternal—sometimes shining brightly, other times fading, or merely shifting imperceptibly. Yet, they have remained constant over millennia, leaving us in the dark about their true nature.

It wasn't until the early 20th century that groundbreaking answers emerged. Astronomers charted the relationship between a star's absolute luminosity and its effective surface temperature, revealing that most stars in the Milky Way follow predictable paths. This discovery was astonishing: stars are not as elusive as once thought; instead, they seem to adhere to certain established patterns.

The Hipparcos keycaps embody this cosmic journey of discovery, merging the beauty of the universe with the elegance of keyboard design.
